First Kreg Jig Project

End Table / Dog Kennel

Thanks to a great design by Ana White homemaker's website. I built this cool dog kennel for my niece, Jessie. It is made from inexpensive pine lumber, 1/2" MDF and 1/4" plywood. I have less than $60 in the project. It is a very large kennel (24"W x 36"D x 27"H). If you have never tried the Kreg Jig pocket screw system, it is a great tool. During the project, I did decide that I need a new table saw. The old $99 basic table saw would be sufficient if it wasn't 30+ years old and hard to get exact cuts.
